Update: All batch functions have been restored and normal operations have returned.

Update: The issue is not completely resolved but service has been restored.

Batch processing began around 3:15AM. Jobs are currently in progress. There will be delays in completion due to outage.

Incident report: UCSD Staff and Faculty,

This message is to inform you that ITS Infrastructure Operations is experiencing a critical outage with a component of daily batch processing:

SCOPE: Major – All batch processing is unavailable

IMPACT:
· Accounts Payable will be cancelled until repair has been completed as bank data transfers will not occur.
· All Data Warehouse loads will not be processed. This includes both the Operational Data Store (ODS) and the Data Warehouse (DW). Any applications that rely on these processes will be impacted.
· Fiscal closing (preliminary), scheduled for Friday evening, could be impacted.
· Transcripts, wait list and some financial aid processes will be impacted.

NOTE: UCSD Mainframe Applications are up and running
