ITS has scheduled the following maintenance:
What: Fiber optic cable rerouting impacting Fire Station on campus along North Torrey Pines Road When: 10/20/2021 from midnight to 6 AM
ITS 's contractor, Baker Electric, will reroute the J103 fiber optic cable on October 20th from midnight to 6:00AM. This work will disrupt all the circuits that are on this cable for the duration of the reroute and cut over. The current fiber infrastructure is in conflict with the proposed Fire Station on campus along North Torrey Pines Road. It is necessary to relocate this infrastructure to get it out of the footprint of the proposed new building.
