Maintenance: Campus Wireless Controller Upgrades to ios version 17.12.5 Jul 14, 2025 05:00-06:00 PDT

ITS has scheduled the following maintenance:

When: Monday, July 14 from 5:00-6:00 a.m. PT

Impact:
On Monday, July 14 from 5:00-6:00 a.m. PT, IT Services will be conducting upgrades to the campus wireless controller. Wireless clients will notice a brief outage of 5-10 minutes as the APs will temporarily move to a backup controller. Clients will notice a second 5-10 minutes outage after the upgrade as the APs move back to the primary controllers.

Maintenance: Planned System Downtime for MyTritonLink suite of applications Jul 15, 2025 18:00-19:00 PDT

ITS has scheduled the following maintenance:

When: Tuesday, July 15 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. PT

IMPACT:
Please be advised that the MyTritonLink suite of applications (including WebReg, Financial Aid, and others), as well as academic staff-related applications (such as Find a Student and Schedule of Classes), will be unavailable on Tuesday, July 15th, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. PT due to a scheduled system upgrade. We appreciate your understanding and recommend planning accordingly to avoid any disruptions.

On Friday, July 11 from 4:00 - 5:00 a.m. PT, IT Services will be upgrading the following ResNet wireless controllers: ResNet B RES-B-9800-80/172.31.255.73 (ERC, Marshall, Village East and West, Warren) and M RES-M-9800-80/172.31.255.89 (6th Apartments, NTPLLN, Matthews, TDLLN, Muir, Rita Res, Revelle).

IMPACT:

On Thursday, July, 3 from 3:00 - 3:30 a.m. PT, ITS will upgrade the software code on m-ntwrk-srvcs-9300/172.31.248.5 from version 17.3.5 to 17.9.5. Although PAN and MnT components of ISE (Identity Services Engine) are connected on the switch, no downtime for ISE is expected due to built in network redundancy. We plan to move ISE PAN and MnT functionality to the B side prior to the maintenance.

Access to Cisco Catalyst Center will be affected for 10-15 minutes.
