Scheduled
Effective Tuesday, May 25, at 1:00 p.m. PDT, all access to UC San Diego email will require two-step login (Duo) as part of our continued security enhancements. This means you will now be prompted with Duo when you login to your email client.

If you are using modern email clients like Microsoft Outlook 2013 and above or Apple Mail 10.14 and above, this change will be automatic. If you are using an older, insecure email client, you will need to upgrade to a supported email client, or access your email with a web browser.

To find out more information and how this change may affect you, visit https://blink.ucsd.edu/technology/email/two-step-login.html.

For assistance, contact your departmental IT support first. For additional support on email clients, help with email web tools, or if you still need further assistance after reviewing our online instructions, contact the IT Services Service Desk.
